Medical service institutions need to provide patients with high quality medical treatment and to be responsible for public health promotion. But a large number of hospitals are experiencing a serious financial problem and going into bankruptcy because of the surrounding environmental changes. Such changes require medical services for the customers to vary and to enhance, but the current situations with poor financial structure and the open of medical market show little possibility of advancement. Therefore, among the ways to develop medical service industry and to improve the public health service, this study presents particularly some ways from the hospital management perspective. First, management techniques for effective hospital management should be introduced. Second, manpower of the hospital staff should be maximized.
Third, cooperative agreement between hospitals should be made. Fourth, efforts for the improvement of medical service system should be exerted. Finally, the financial structure of hospital should be reformed.
